Overview:

The Inventory and Fulfillment Analyst contributes to the company's sales, inventory and margin goals through allocating merchandise to the stores. Performs analysis by store to develop inventory requirements to meet consumer demands. Executes category performance at the store level and assigns store grades. Makes recommendations to management in regards to sales performance of each location and necessary changes to maximize sales.

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree with a focus in statistics or related field

-Experience in allocations, forecasting, or procurement is a plus.

Responsibilities:

-Historical analysis of data

-Competency to project allocation needs through proper forecasting

-Provide calculated input to assist in the procurement process

-Identifies and rectifies stock imbalances in individual stores through allocation of product and replenishment inventory to maximize the ability of each store to generate sales.

-Analyze sales, shrink, and inventories to determine proper allocation by store. Keep detailed records by store regarding product restrictions and floral footprint changes.

-Execute inventory allocations as necessary considering customer's inventory position.

-Analyze data and product sell-through to determine necessary changes on a weekly and annual basis.

-Research past sales trends and stay informed of current sales trends for each location that may influence inventory demand.

-Works closely with Field Supervisors and Operations Service Manager to ensure that total inventory is utilized to its maximum sales potential at each location.

-Attend weekly receiving meetings (Mondays /Thursdays) and Distro Meeting (Wednesdays)

-Assists Warehouse Supervisor in the routing of deliveries to meet customer delivery deadlines by maximizing truck volume capacity and route efficiency, and maximize sales potential.

-Able to interpret and implement significant details from reports.

-Make good decisions and work autonomously.

-Ability to adapt and make live decisions as you go.

-Very hands-on decision oriented position.

Qualifications:

-Must have strong analytical skills

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required with extensive knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, data connections, graphing, conditional formatting and formula names.

-Pull reports and perform ad-hoc reporting.

-Self starter, must be productive with minimal direction

-Possess advanced organization skills, as analyst must keep and analyze several spreadsheets detailing the various elements and aspects of inventory at various locations

-Must be disciplined and able to work under pressure while being flexible and able to adapt

-Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills.

-Ability to present ideas and direction to others.

-Have an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.

-Knowledge of inventory management and statistical forecast techniques

Schedule:

-Full time

-Monday through Friday

-8am - 4:30pm

-Additional hours and varied schedule during holiday periods
