Quirk Auto Dealerships currently has a full-time position available for a Human Resources Assistant. Interested candidates should be availability Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm. The starting pay for this position will depend on experience. This is an entry level position and no experience in HR is necessary.
Job Duties Include:
Tracks weekly missed punch violations, administering weekly warnings and works to resolve timecard errors.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Screening applicants for hire.
Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Any other HR tasks assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with MS word, and Excel preferred.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
A positive attitude and good work ethic.
