Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Unique Media Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for payroll, AP and AR entries, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping (all in QuickBooks), and supporting our sales representatives by entering purchase orders for new equipment. This position is vital in helping us
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Utilize QuickBooks to manage client accounts effectively.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for payment purposes.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the accounting field.
Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks; experience with Sage or Quicken is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Details
Location - Remote
Job type - Contract / 1099
Expected hours per week - Part-time - Estimated 5-10 hours/week
Schedule - To be discussed/agreed upon
Pay - Starts at $22/hour
Experience level - 2 or more years experience in similar type of work
Supplemental pay types - Bonus based on performance
Qualifications - Data entry, account reconciliation, ability to manage a busy email inbox, good communication skills, reliable, and has a professional demeanor.
