Plastic Manufacturer Machine Operator FULL-TIME $20/hr 50 Pine Rd, Brentwood, NH 03833 - Set up, operate, or tend machines such as blown film extruder, silicone coater, rewind/slitter, and auxiliary equipment to extrude and coat and convert flat films. - Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions such as roll quality, silicone continuity and dimensional tolerances. Adjust machine controls, tensions, and operational parameters as necessary. - Load materials into extruding and coating machines, by proper weighing, and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates. - Start metering pumps and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous flow of silicone coatings. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures to determine correct film production parameters and quality specifications. Record details of machine malfunctions. - Keep machinery and work area clean. Wipe finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvent when necessary. - Ensure quality of film and raw materials meets and exceeds customer and company standards with training in a lab as a QA tester. Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM or 6:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: first shift Sun-Tues 6AM-6PM and Wed 6AM-12PM and shift 3 weds 12PM-6PM and Thurs-Sat 6AM-6PM and 4th shift Weds night 12AM-6AM and Thurs-Sat 6PM-6AM Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Has worked in a manufacturing facility for at least 1-2 years - Be familiar with rulers, scales, gauges, and other measurement tools. - Able to stand, bend, squat, lift 30 pounds. - Pass a background check and drug screen. - Dependable attendance, able to work holidays. - Eligible to work in the U.S. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded) - Must pass background check - Can lift 40 lbs
