SUMMARY
This role is ideal for individuals with shipping and receiving experience who enjoy working in a hands-on environment. The Shipper Level 2 is responsible for preparing products for safe transit, creating shipping labels, and transporting materials within the facility. You'll gain exposure to diverse shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL), Mie Trak software, and the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling and overtime opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely package and wrap parts for shipping, ensuring parts match required specifications.
Create accurate shipping labels and process shipments through UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Campus Ship with minimal supervision.
Utilize Mie Trak software to close work orders, generate invoices, and attach packing slips to POs.
Receive jobs and materials, transport them across departments, and ensure proper documentation and signatures.
Clean and prepare parts for shipment and ensure accurate labeling for outside processing.
Document delivery records, scan packing slips, and maintain traceability across operations.
Complete end-of-day processes including printing reports, sending shipping summaries, and performing closing checklists.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures.
Support cross-functional teams and assist with various shipping and warehousing tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations preferred.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of shipping systems and experience using ERP tools like Mie Trak is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
Valid driver’s license required.
