Machine Operator - Lathe (TINC-MFG IBR) - 1st Shift

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for setting up, utilizing and operating assigned mill machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.

Come Build with Us by:

-Performing set-up and operation of assigned mill machine/s.

-Performing preventative maintenance and diagnostics on mill machines as needed and required.

-Reporting all deviations in proper machine performance to employee’s direct supervisor, other shop supervisor, and/or

Machine Maintenance personnel (when warranted).

-Advising and consulting with direct supervisor, and/or shop supervisor as applicable, for tools and tooling needed to complete projects.

-Maintaining fixtures and set-ups for use in specified projects as assigned by direct supervisor in conjunction with other shop supervisor when applicable.

-Supporting and maintaining overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.

-Inspecting and documenting all operations per TURBOCAM procedures as stated in the Quality Manual as well as per specifications of the product engineer, project manager, and direct supervisor.

-Interpreting blueprints and using various calibrated instruments to check dimensions called out on inspection reports.

-Performing other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

-High school diploma or GED equivalent.

-Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

-Experience running CNC lathes and mills.

-Good math skills.

-Knowledge of measuring equipment.

-Ability to interpret blueprints and use calibrated instruments to check dimensions preferred.

-Ability to advance through training matrix.

-Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions carefully.

-Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

-Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel desired.

-Must be self-motivated and willing to seek out additional work when time is available.

-Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25-50 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.

-Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.

-Must be able to climb in and out of small places; crawl around machinery.
