Director of Facilities (CORP) - 1st Shift

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for managing construction, rent, maintenance, and upgrades of TURBOCAM’s facilities. This role serves as a technical advisor to the President and VP regarding building systems and oversees organizational compliance with local regulations. Responsibility for supporting six manufacturing facilities in the NH seacoast area with over 350,000 square feet.

Supervisor Specific Responsibilities:

Manage people, resources and assigned budget (if applicable) to achieve objectives.

Understand, comply with, promote, and implement all established and proposed program initiatives including but not limited to: Safety, Quality and Performance Management.

Providing direction and assistance to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Establishing support relationship for rented satellite US facilities (AZ, SC).

Being lead for negotiating and managing all utility contracts for NH locations.

Overseeing all facility contractor relations and ensure completion of work based on contracts, to include contracts for construction of new facilities

Collaborating with Senior Leadership on long range planning for facility capacity, to include new buildings, rentals, and facility upgrades.

Ensuring all US facilities, to include those outside NH, comply with relevant laws, regulations and safety standards.

Being primary agent responsible for coordination and interaction with local and state officials regarding facilities.

Liaise with international GMs and facilities staff to develop common facility maintenance standards, share lessons learned, and lend subject matter expertise for new projects

Overseeing establishing goals and metrics that reflect facilities maintenance performance and using them for effective management.

Coordinating with corporate department leads and GMs to ensure strong communication and joint problem solving on facility requirements.

Coordinating closely with machine maintenance to ensure infrastructure is aligned to support evolving manufacturing equipment requirements

Performing other duties as necessary.

Bring Your Expertise:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Science, Business Management, Facilities Management or related subjects or equivalent experience.

5+ years in facilities management or a combination of the two.

Proven Management/Supervisory experience preferred; position involves a certain degree of creativity, latitude and independent decision making.

Varied experience: mechanical, electrical, and electronics.

Ability to handle multiple projects, stay calm in emergencies and make good decisions under pressure.

Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

Must be able to lift 25 pounds in a safe manner, and request assistance when warranted.

Must have range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs and ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties

Ability to be on call and willing to address issues in a 24/6 production environment.

Must possess driver’s license and access to reliable transportation due to travel between NH facilities.
