We are seeking a team player with an upbeat and positive attitude for our CNC Machinist role. This position requires strong attention to detail and critical thinking. Must be familiar with setting up, programming and running Haas machining centers. Candidates with these skills must be able to thrive in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities will include:
Set up machine as required to perform machining operations
Select proper feeds and speeds for machining different types of material
Have the ability to troubleshoot programs and machine related issues
Responsible for day to day maintenance on machines and maintain a clean organized work station
Must Have:
Knowledge of G-codes and M-codes.
Advanced understanding of print reading, geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
Able to work in an efficient and timely manner.
Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to use a computer and calculator.
Must be able to read and write in English and do basic arithmetic.
Good communication skills.
Job Qualifications/Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years specific experience with CNC machinery
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
