Carroll County has immediate openings for seasonal grounds workers at our Ossipee complex. Flexible schedule! Start work as soon as next week! Duties include but are not limited:
Lawn care for county buildings complex wide, with direction from the DPW director.
Landscaping improvements such as cleaning lawns of debris, raking and care of flower gardens, mulching & pruning of trees/shrubs under the direction of the DPW director.
Loading baled hay from fields to wagon, unloading of hay bales from hay wagons to stacking of bales in the hay barn, under direction of the DPW director.
Planting, weeding, mulching, and harvesting produce from the farm garden under the direction of the DPW director.
Must be 16-years old, able to lift 50 pounds, and understand verbal instructions. Tasks will include using a "weed whacker" and other power tools.
