We are a busy family seeking a patient, organized, and proactive part-time Nanny/House Manager to help with childcare, household management, and meal preparation. We have three children (ages 3.5, 10, and 12) who are fun, energetic, and thrive with structure—two of whom have ADHD. The ideal candidate will be reliable, communicative, and confident in balancing childcare, home organization, and occasional pet care.

Our home is currently undergoing renovations, so flexibility and adaptability are essential in managing an evolving environment. We are looking for someone who is great with children, patient and can take initiative while working independently.

Job Title: Part-Time Nanny/House Manager

Employment Type: Part-time (25 - 30 hours/week)

Compensation: $22-28/hour based on experience

Location: Manchester, NH (North End, 03104)

Start Date: ASAP

Proposed Schedule:

Core Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (some flexibility required)

Additional hours as needed for household tasks, errands, and occasional evenings

Increased summer availability preferred when kids are out of school

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management 12- 2pm

- Meal planning & prep (healthy, simple meals preferred)

- Light tidying & organization (shared spaces, kids’ belongings, occasional laundry)

- Errands (returns, restocking essentials, light grocery shopping)

- Pet care (occasional dog walks, appointments, and grooming for a standard poodle)

- Laundry for entire family

Childcare (Primary Focus) 2-6pm

- Afternoon School Pickups

- Help kids transition home, supervise afternoon routines, and provide guidance as needed

- Support with homework, snacks, and after-school activities

- Manage conflict resolution and create a structured but flexible environment

- Flexibility & Additional Responsibilities

- Occasional late afternoons/evenings as needed due to parents’ work schedules

- Open to additional summer hours

Qualifications:

- Experience with childcare, ideally with ADHD and/or multiple age groups

- Strong organizational skills & ability to multitask

- Patient, dependable, and proactive—comfortable balancing childcare with household tasks

- Reliable, safe transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record (mileage reimbursement provided)

- Non-smoker, U.S. citizen, and able to pass a background check

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
