Job Overview:
The Warehouse Disassembly Technician plays a vital role in the disassembly and manual sortation of incoming electronic materials (including TVs, monitors, microwaves, and CPUs) for safe and efficient processing.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Dismantling and sorting of Universal and Electronic wastes
-Proper sortation of electronic components
-Consolidation of Universal and E-wastes for outbound shipments
-Keep work area clean and follow all safety programs
-Clean work area before completion of shift
-Wear all personnel protective equipment (PPE) as needed; Kevlar sleeves with Kevlar gloves, work boots, and safety glasses
-Always operate with the highest level of safety of self and others
Desired Qualifications
-Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
-Attention to detail, including safety guidelines and best practices
-Effective communication skills
Compensation
-$20 hourly rate during training period
-Commission wages after first 3 weeks based on disassembled weight (earn up to $45+ per hour!)
