We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to become part of our growing team!
We are a friendly neighborhood garage and an established automotive repair company, that has two locations and a 16 year history in Portsmouth, NH.
We offer the following;
Full time: Monday - Friday 8 am until 5 pm (with an hour lunch) and No Weekends!
Competitive pay (pay to commensurate with experience - 52k to 74k for qualified and experienced mechanic)
Paid Holidays (6 major holidays, after 90 days)
3 Paid Sick/Personal days per calendar year (available after 90 days)
Paid vacation after 1 year of service.
Any unused sick/personal and or vacation days will be bought back at the end of the year.
Health Reimbursement Arrangement (we contribute toward your health plan)
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, Adjust, and Repair passenger cars and light truck vehicles
Perform routine vehicle scheduled services and maintenance, inspections, oil changes, scan tool diagnostics, etc.
Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and Detail-Oriented
NH State Inspection license (or ability and willingness to quickly work towards one)
MUST have your own tools
Dependable Work Ethic
And a CAN-DO attitude
