Our practice in Nashua, NH is seeking a long-term, part-time Dental Hygienist. We want to welcome a new team member who is reliable, respectful, and hard-working. Our patients are accustomed to a high standard of care, and a comprehensive approach to dentistry, and the ideal candidate would uphold these expectations. The practice has a positive, and welcoming environment and we will not entertain any candidates who do not exhibit these vital qualities.
Responsibilities:
-Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing - using both hand scaling and ultrasonic instruments (Cavitron).
-Conduct patient assessments, oral screenings, and clinical evaluations. Taking radiographs on a regular basis to aid in proper diagnosis and insurance reimbursement.
-Periodontal probing on an annual basis, for all patients.
-Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions.
-Write thorough chart notes, documenting all clinical findings, performed procedures, existing conditions, and next visit details.
-Relay patient-related information in an effective manner to the dentist, and front desk staff.
-Apply sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth.
-Administer local anesthesia when required.
-Sterilization of instruments in line with OSHA Regulations and Infection Control Protocols.
-Collaborate with the Dentists to ensure our patients receive the treatment they need and the highest quality care.
-Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements:
-Valid Dental Hygiene license in NH.
-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
-Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, clinical terminology, and dental procedures.
-Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients.
-Strong written skills to accurately document patients' clinical findings and needs.
-Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals.
Schedule:
Monday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-3pm, Thursday 8am-5pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 25 per week
