We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in someone's life.
The schedule is Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, however, there is some flexibility, like 9am-5pm, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with personal care needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow all established protocols and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines, to ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other team members to ensure coordinated care
Skills:
- Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
