Waldman Plastic Surgery and Dermatology is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Receptionist for our busy and growing Plastic Surgery and Dermatology practice in Nashua, NH. Our group offers medical, surgical, and cosmetic services to patients from NH, VT, MA, ME, and more. Candidates should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications and Skills required:

-Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all patients, such as being personable and attentive

-Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with patients, vendors, representatives, and other employees

-Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance

-Organizational skills to keep accurate records

-Problem solving skills

-Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the major duties and responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Receptionist are not limited to the following:

-Greeting patients upon arrival in a polite and timely manner

-Providing patients with intake/new patient forms, as well as copies of our office policies

-Obtaining demographic, medical history, insurance information, and any other necessary data from patients

-Answering incoming phone calls (multi-line phones)

-Scheduling new and recurring patient appointments

-Processing payments from patients for co-pays, balances, and cosmetic services

-Verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining referrals, when necessary

-Responding to patient inquiries regarding cosmetic procedures

-Faxing and scanning medical record requests

-Working daily faxes from referring physicians/facilities

-Checking out patients and scheduling follow up appointments

-Confirming patient’s appointments prior to their visit

-Providing patients with support and guidance as needed

-Processing incoming and outgoing supply shipments
