Our father is incapacitated due to back issues. He can move around the house a bit but he needs meals set out and cleared up daily. Morning, Noon, Tea, Evening.
There are a few household needs like feeding the cat and putting out/bringing in the bird seed, emptying the dehumidifier The hours involved are 1 to 1.5 per meal- so, 4-6 per day at $20/hour. Another $25 if you can do foot bath and foot massages.
It would be best to have someone who could simply drive out and help for 1.5 hours- sharing dinner with Dad would be important and just being there for the hours necessary.
The house is beautifully situated on a lake and you're welcome to hang out any amount of time- beyond the work hours. In fact, there's a room to sleep if you'd just like to make this a second home for the days you work.
Local people are best unless you'd like to spend nights here- but only the needed hours are paid. (4-6?)
