Live and Work on an Island This Summer
The Star Island Corporation is currently looking for applicants (age 18 and older) for seasonal work on Star Island, Isles of Shoals, off the coast of Portsmouth, NH. A variety of positions are available including kitchen, wait staff, and housekeeping positions, as well as positions requiring strong customer service and cash handling skills, and hands-on positions such as grounds/gardening, and maintenance. There’s something for everyone! Residency on Star Island is required 6 days/week. Employment period is mid-June to mid-September, depending upon availability.
Voted one of the top ten summer jobs in New England by Yankee Magazine, working on Star Island can be extremely rewarding. Many lives have been positively influenced, and even careers determined, by spending a summer working on Star Island. The words “best job ever” are often used when describing this experience.
