Dough Craft Pizza & Pastrami on Route 1 in Portsmouth, NH needs to find an energetic and passionate Chef/Cook. We’re a casual, family-friendly restaurant with a full bar and seating for about 100 guests. Our menu features fresh-made pizzas, hot steamed pastrami sandwiches, crisp salads, golden French fries, tasty chicken tenders, and hearty pasta dishes. We take pride in serving great food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. You should be comfortable handling a variety of tasks, able to stay cool under pressure, and ready to work solo or as part of a team—depending on the shift.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and cook food from our menu with consistency and care
Keep up with multiple orders during busy times without sacrificing quality
Use kitchen equipment safely (pizza oven, fryer, steamer, etc.)
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health code standards
Help with prep, restocking, and closing duties as needed
Communicate with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly
Take initiative and work independently when needed
What You’ll Need:
Previous kitchen experience (especially with pizza or casual dining) is a big plus
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and possibly some holidays
A positive attitude and good communication skills
Must be reliable and punctual
