Food from a happy Chef, with a healthy work/life balance just tastes better! That is why we offer a four-day work week (Wednesday-Saturday). Enjoy Sunday with your friends and family. We are open only for dinner, so you have mornings free as well.
We pride ourselves on our scratch kitchens, and we love to use local products as much as possible. We change our menu often, so there is always something new and exciting to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Follow recipes and procedures
Order, rotate, and properly store inventory
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines set forth by State and town regulations
ServSafe Manager Certification (we can help you with this!)
Prepare food in a safe, consistent manner
Work with FOH to ensure every guest has a memorable experience
Control costs including Labor and Food
Keep equipment clean and perform preventative maintenance
Develop Specials
Actively participate in writing and implementing of seasonal menus
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operation
Utilize local ingredients as much as possible
Maintain positive relationships with vendors, inspectors, and service providers
Work with banquet manager to facilitate special events
Represent our restaurant through all actions
Oversee and develop small kitchen staff
Increase food sales
This is a great position for someone with kitchen management experience looking to make the move into ownership. We will be there to guide you and support you, while giving you the room to grow and do your own thing.
