Covered Bridge Montessori is a New Toddler/Preschool Montessori School that opened in Weare NH this fall.
This is a school year program that closely follows the school year calendar -along with summers off to go the lake and the mountains!
We are licensed for 12 children ages 15mos -4 years and are looking for a Part-Time Montessori Certified Teacher (Any Level) or Assistant Teacher. To start soon.
Observe, guide, supervise, and assess children while they engage in a self-directed learning environment.
Maintain the prepared indoor/outdoor classroom environment as you teach within a multi-age setting.
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and aligned with the Montessori philosophy.
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth. Maintain frequent communications with families through informal discussions, progress reports, and family-teacher conferences.
Ensure all center policies and NH state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards as well as the safety and security of children.
Maintain accurate records, forms, and files.
Must have good handwriting skills and write a weekly/monthly newsletter (low technology school).
Must attend weekly staff meeting on Fridays and change classroom for new unit.
Maintain personal a professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement and meet NH State requirements for continuing professional development.
Must be able to follow a strict uniform policy.
Must pass a fingerprint check.
Must CPR/1st aid Certified (will pay for ½ of training)
Must have a current physical.
28- hours per week- Rate of pay 18 an hour. Monday-Thursday 8:00am-1:30pm -Friday 8:00am-3:00pm.
