Job Description: Showroom Attendant
Entry Level Position
Our Bath and Kitchen Showroom in Nashua New Hampshire is seeking an engaging and reliable individual with an eye for design to assist prospective remodeling customers and provide support to our team of designers. No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Brief: The Custom Kitchen and Bath Showroom is often the first direct point of contact our company has with the public. The Showroom Attendant is expected to demonstrate friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough customer service as they guide prospective customers through the products on display and explain some of the various remodeling services offered. The Showroom Attendant will work with prospective clients to set appointments for free in-home consultations with our designers, and facilitate smaller purchases. Reliability and good communication skills are vital.
Compensation: The position will begin with an hourly rate from $10 - $15 depending on experience.
Hours of Commitment: The showroom is currently advertised as being open from 11am through 5pm every day of the week. This post is offering a full time (40 hour a week) position but we can be flexible to a degree. The Showroom Attendant is expected to be present at the showroom every Saturday from at least 10 am through 5 pm. Applicants who cannot work on Saturdays will not be considered. The Showroom Attendant will be able to choose which other days they’d like to have off.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Greet customers
Provide product and service information
Assist returning customers and communicate their feedback to the lead designer working on their project
Set appointments for new clients
Direct Sales
Process orders for materials and collect payments
Log all transactions in a shared database
Coordinate receiving and pick up of all ordered materials
Stage received materials in our storage areas as needed
Light Cleaning Duties
Keep showroom tidy
Return samples to their proper locations
Opportunities for Advancement: This position will begin at an hourly rate but once the training period is completed, Showroom Attendants can also earn commission on product sales and can train further for a lucrative career in the field of home remodeling design.

Lifting of items 50 lbs or more may be required. Items more than 100lbs would require a team lift. Hand cart and pallet jack are available for moving heavier items.
