Veterinary Pharmacy Attendant

Job duties include, but are not limited to:Primary duties will include: On-site pharmacy management, filling prescriptions for pets, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, answering calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, working closely with pet parents to understand the medications their pets are being given- including discussing side effects, contraindications, and continued care for refill management.Secondary duties will include: Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
