Production Engineer

As part of the Oetiker Production Engineering team, you will be driving key development activities for various metal forming products and manufacturing processes: Provide engineering support for the design and development of new and existing products, processes, equipment and tooling while maintaining KPIs and ensuring quality – ZeroDefect mentalityLead, coordinate and collaborate project engineering activities and cross-functional teams by applying agile project management methodologies and utilization of latest collaboration tools (MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.)Utilize technical risk management tools according to AIAG standardsDefine technical requirements, manage suppliers and provide adequate training/ support to various departments during the implementation of deliverables throughout the various APQP PhasesManage the assembly of production machines and tooling, ensuring a smooth hand-over to production by preparing Technical Work Instructions, reports and taking action to the closure of open itemsConduct Functional Acceptance Testing and product validationsProvide problem-solving support for production continuous improvement activities (OPS) and non-conformities
