Manager, Gas Facilities Engineering

Kōrero mō te tūranga (about the role)We're looking for a talented professional to bring the good energy to our Gas Facilities engineering team.Due to internal movement, we're recruiting for a Manager, Gas Facilities Engineering.  This role leads the team focused on supporting engineering within Gas Facilities across the Clarus group including Ahuroa Gas Storage, our gas transmission stations, Biogas Production Facilities and H2 facilities.  This role is about leading a highly skilled team of engineers to effectively develop, deliver and maintain all aspects within our facilities. Coordinating the team and facilitating across various operational teams is key to ensuring we get the best possible outcomes. You can expect to:Be responsible for and support the team in development and support of the lifecycle of assets including specific process/standards, risk/opportunity, projects, ongoing operations and compliance. Manage the operations, resourcing, work programmes and performance of the team to successfully deliver on all work, projects and requests on time, within budget and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate and collaborate across other functions in multiple business units to ensure operational objectives are met as a team.Encourage transparency, information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, and process improvement to ensure collaboration, effectiveness, efficiency, and operational excellence. Contribute to other projects/work as required including cross teams and departments.
