Vice President, Operations

This role will Report to the MD - India, VP & Commercial Lead, India, SASSA. Person will oversee legal, procedural and functional operations of the India region for Taylor & Francis. This is a meaningful role that will be responsible for planning, assessing, coordinating, managing, and reporting on key processes to support business operations.What you’ll be doing:In line with the overall plans and vision, you’ll beEnsuring departmental decisions and project plans in various business operations, are in line with the plans and visionSupporting the MD in obtaining information and identifying key issues for laying down the annual operating plan for the regionCollaborating with the MD and SLT to coordinate, facilitate, and execute the strategic direction of the organization’s operations, other than revenue generationIdentifying, recommending, and building efficient new business processes, technologies, and systems and ensure continuous improvement in existing onesWorking closely with the relevant regional SLT to review/assess strategy, supervise progress, recommend adaptations or modifications in line with changes in external environment or internal requirements.Leading and overseeing the day-to-day, non-revenue operations to keep the business performing at its peakDriving business continuity function by developing and enforcing policies, processes, controls, and best practices to achieve maximum potentialProviding expertise and mentorship on operational projects and systemsBuilding and maintaining business relationships with key decision-makers within the organization and across the industry
