Description: A construction safety manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety programs on construction sites. Duties include conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, training workers on safety protocols, investigating incidents, and collaborating with management to improve safety measures. Job specifics & expectations:
Place of work - 100% project focused requiring on-site support
Minimum 3+ years' experience
OSHA 30 (or greater)
Strong Excavation experience required
Industrial experience preferred
Must be able to lift over 30lbs
Must be able-bodied and easily walk an expansive job site.
Work will be for 5-6 days a week with an occasional Sunday.
Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate with safety director
Develop specific safety plan
Review electrical (low voltage) work plans for compliance
Provide necessary reporting
