Description Join our clients expanding team as a Project Accountant, where you'll play a pivotal role as a financial specialist overseeing designated projects. Take ownership of the job and drive financial performance by collaborating closely with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers. Your key responsibilities include developing strong client relationships, navigating a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating the ability to work independently and as a team player. If you're a detail-oriented financial professional with a knack for client interaction and thrive in a dynamic work setting, we invite you to contribute to our growth and success.The primary role includes:

Reviewing and assisting with creating project accounts in the accounting system.

Maintaining project-related records, including contracts and change orders.

Ensuring consistent billing and financial reporting at project levels by following established best practices, including preparing and submitting monthly billing.

Reviewing and tracking project budgets; investigating project variances and submitting variance reports to management.

Effectively communicating with APM and PM's to determine monthly billing information updates.

Preparing and revising elaborate client invoices; supporting effective client relationships and submitting project invoices.

Supporting analysis and reporting of assigned projects' financial information.

Working with Field Management on cost projections and expense tracking.

Recommending and implementing agreed process improvements to the billing cycle.

Preparing special project analyses as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with experience in accounting, or Associates/some college with a concentration in accounting.

Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including accounting software.

Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Strong organizational skills.

Deadline and detail-oriented.
