This pivotal role will see you immersing yourself in machine learning and statistical modelling, employing advanced techniques to dissect and understand complex data sets. As a part of our Data Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining tools which provide valuable insights that guide our decision-making to optimise both time and costs.What does the role look like?Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of models and data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable impactProactively engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities, define problems, and ensure solutions are implemented and adopted effectivelyMentor junior and mid-level data scientists, providing guidance on modelling techniques, machine learning engineering practices, governance and business alignment.Build, test, and deploy machine learning models using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks on Azure to solve problems in forecasting, operations, and automationDesign and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to ensure reliable access for analytics and ML use casesUse A/B testing, optimisation techniques, and causal inference to generate insights that inform key business decisionsImplement robust MLOps practices, including model versioning, automated retraining, and performance monitoringPrototype solutions in advanced domains such as computer vision, optimisation, and generative AITranslate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations through presentations, dashboards, and documentation.
