Associate - Safety Health and Environment

We are looking for a Safety Health & Environment (SH&E) Associate to work in our Middleburgh, NY plant. The ideal candidate for this role will have responsibility for maintaining safe working conditions for employees, provide good environmental stewardship and ensure compliance with various statutory requirements.Responsibilities:Provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure a compliant and safe work placeProvide continuous improvement of the site's occupational safety, industrial hygiene and emergency response programs and proceduresLead site safety teams and coordinate with corporate safety teamsPrepare and submit SHE performance reportsConduct job safety analysis for operations, hazard identification and risk assessmentsManage hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams and reporting requirements for the siteMaintain environmental monitoring and permitting for the siteMaintain all site plans and procedures pertaining to SHE operationsAddress Workers Comp issues as they arise, investigate and initiate preventative measures for the future.
