AHRC NYC is seeking a Human Resource Manger to provide operational support and supervision to their Human Resource Operations.Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit package. See Benefit information below.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESProvide operations support and supervision to HR Operations that includes, but is not limited to:Lead HR Operations Employee Life Cycle processes & ensure high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained based on compliance within the relevant legal framework and policy requirements.Manage on-boarding process, ensuring completeness and accuracy of hiring packet information and documentation.Provide quality checks to ensure all data entry tasks related to personnel records in HRIS database are accurate and completed in a timely and precise manner.Manage and facilitate workflow processes, standards, and procedures within HR Function to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in development and implementation of systems, programs, and strategies, particularly in the areas Human Resources Policies, Legal/Regulatory Risk, Benefits, Compensation, Labor Contract requirements, and Performance Management.Oversee compliance with regulatory and internal policies.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESLead the HR Operations team in delivering operational excellence including, supervise regular and temporary staff, establishing appropriate assignments and scheduling, providing guidance and training on assigned tasks, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.Direct oversight of all new hire processes, ensuring successful, timely and accurate on-boarding of new employees that includes offer letter generation/delivery, payroll setup, and timely review, processing, and recordkeeping of required compliance documentation.Oversee data entry of employee life cycle changes into HR system, including processing changes for assigned area.Liaison with program management and administrative hubs regarding payroll changes, transfers, and other changes.Maintain and update employee records safeguarding data integrity and privacy.Respond to management and employee queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.Collaborate with other departments to integrate HR functions with business operations.Streamline HR processes through the use of technology and best practices to increase efficiency and improve service delivery. Assist in developing HR-related written policies and procedures, as well as in developing related training materials.Provide project support on ad hoc or special OED initiatives, as needed.Other duties as assigned.
