Job Summary: Verify printed circuit board assemblies, (PCBAs), are built in accordance with the specified standards.Essential Functions:

Utilize output from AOI equipment to assess conformity of PCBAs being built on the SMT line

Identify manufacturing defects & program issues

Accurately input defect data into the MES

Perform simple repair of printed circuit board assemblies

Perform modification work to circuit boards including trace cuts and adding jumpers

Hand-solder SMT components per specifications

Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results

Provide limited direction to PCB Assemblers

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree + 2 years experience

Ability to accurately perform visual inspection

Strong computer skills

Ability to perform detailed work for extended periods

Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, drawings, and assembly instructions

Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions

Ability to manipulate and work with small parts
