Job Title: Manufacturing Technician C Job Code: 19872 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10-hour days, 4 days a week—1st Shift Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C to join our team. The team member in this position will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including evaluating, troubleshooting, performing rework, and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Additionally, work with sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Furthermore, determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process Essential Functions:
Understand all operations WI’s (assembly, test, & rework)
Review all suspected failures per QC WI-8608
Perform training and provide clarifications to P/F criteria
Unit related issues evaluated per WI criteria & specifications
Review station issues and escalate to TPM tech
Escalate potential part non conformances to Quality & SQE
Disposition/Data Correct systems that don’t need to enter the Quality Clinic (troubleshooting, non-standard rework, or unknown condition)
Move failures to QC (removes responsibility from group leaders), rework cells, or dispositioned operation
Identify failure trends and improvements and submit PIM tickets which include: process improvement identification amd fixtures creation or refurbishment identification
Participate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies
Follow and comply with all cleanroom guidelines (no perfume or lotions, no shorts/skirts/capris without hosiery, full PPE including hair net, face mask, safety goggles, smock, gloves as examples)
Highly skilled and experience senior support individual contributor able to work under limited supervision with initiative autonomously
Ability to engage with ME, QE, SQE and effectively communicate findings, improvement opportunities
Ability to engage with production leadership to identify and correct training gaps
Ability to identify and reduce waste (8 Wastes)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior manufacturing experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior manufacturing experience
