Job Title: Manufacturing Technician A Job Code: 13372 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: The Manufacturing Technician troubleshoots, reworks, assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Working knowledge of electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies Perform basic computer activities with programs provided Identifiy and perform preventive maintenance on tools and test equipment. Demonstrate comprehension of engineering prints and work instructions Report deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and obtains quality inspection when appropriate Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement Troubleshoot, repair, and test electro-mechanical/optical systems with hand tools Apply considerable English language skills to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Apply considerable math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Cultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team work Perform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures Basic Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
