Separate all whole milk products into skim and cream and test silo's to use for batching bases. Create base formulas and perform all batching functions to the quality standard. Add specific ingredients to batches for the desired base. Perform all raw CIP’s and periodic cleaning to support production needs and ensure highest quality.Key Accountabilities: Test incoming raw milk for temperature, antibiotics, Cryoscope, as well as protein, Butterfat and total solids. Receive raw milk/ liquid sugar and standardize to Quality specifications. Meet timing expectations of raw receiving schedule per tanker to eliminate detention fees. Meet Master Sanitation responsibilities. Perform Lactoscope testing with Skim, Cream, and Condensed raw ingredients. Operate, trouble shoot and clean milk separator. Manage the cream butterfat from separator for maximum volume and efficiency of 40 %. Perform all raw CIP’s and troubleshoot to support production functions. Perform pectin functions for Smoothie process in conjunction with the Pasteurize operator. Perform all raw periodic cleaning per schedule determined by sanitation needs. Perform all raw preventive maintenance tasks to ensure high quality. Program Human-Machine Interface(HMI) to support tasks. Create base formulas from the protein and butterfat results on the raw ingredients. Batch ingredients to base specifications to quality standards. Powder NFDM, Stabilizer ,Vitamin D, and Dry Sugar to base specifications. Ensure accuracy of ingredient lot numbers to be used in bases. Perform base testing requirements of Protein, Total Solids and Butterfat. Assist Processor 1 and Pasteurize Operator when necessary to ensure the safety and quality of our products. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) at all times. Follow all lock-out/tag-out procedures at all times. Write work orders for items in area of responsibility, which are in need of repair. Also follow up to see that they are repaired. Time management needed for efficient operation. Practice good housekeeping. Complete SAP functions with each milk load/separation and ensure accuracy. Complete SAP functions with incoming powders from storage locations and ensure accuracy. Complete State regulation charts and ensure proper documentation. Complete forklift training requirements for a valid license. Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements Strong math skills. English proficiency (reading, writing, skills). Must be able to work flexible hours when covering for other processor vacations. Must be able to work weekends when the situation warrants. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints. Ability to operate in a team environment. Ability to adapt in a highly changing work environment.We run 12 hour shifts with Rotatingevery otherSaturday Off.
