Senior Manager – Infrastructure & Cloud (Healthcare IT)

Infrastructure ManagementManage and optimize Azure Cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, performance tuning, and cost management.Oversee co-located data centers and on-prem virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Monitor and support core infrastructure services including networking, storage, backups, and disaster recovery processes.Collaborate with internal teams for infrastructure planning and implementation of system upgrades or migrations.Cloud & Security OperationsMaintain a security-first approach by following best practices in access control, encryption, patch management, and incident response.Support basic compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA / HITRUST security guidelines), with deeper security audits handled by the internal security team.Coordinate with security teams for managing firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, and risk tracking.Administer identity and access management using tools like Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, etc.Team & CollaborationManage and mentor a small team of system/network engineers and cloud administrators.Serve as a point of escalation for infrastructure-related issues and coordinate cross-functionally with application, support, and data teams.Work with the sales and solutions teams to provide infrastructure input for proposals and change requests when needed.Projects & Process ImprovementLead infrastructure-related projects including cloud migration, system automation, and performance optimization.Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and monitoring dashboards to ensure uptime and system visibility.Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning, working alongside leadership.
