This position is full-time, hybrid, and a 1-year contract.This position will be onsite 1 day of the week in Concord, NH. Candidates must be local to the area to accommodate the client’s schedule. This will be a 37.5-hour work week.What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), data maps, and flow charts for data handling, rostering, and ETL processes

Ensure that documentation aligns with state data governance and privacy policies

Collaborate with teams to understand current data management processes and identify areas for improvement

Provide feedback and recommendations regarding database consolidation projects and assess the potential impacts

Ensure all data process documentation is accurate, clear, and up to date

Maintain organized records of data processes and changes to enhance data transparency and accessibility

What You’ll NeedRequired:

Minimum of 2 years of experience documenting complex data processes, including SOPs and data flows

Ability to translate complex technical processes into clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong understanding of data handling, ETL processes, and data governance

Proficiency in Data Visualization and Flowchart Tools: (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, or equivalent)

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to ensure documentation accuracy

Ability to work collaboratively with data analysts, developers, and state-level stakeholders

Desired:

Familiarity with assessment data processes, student information systems, and accountability measures in education

Understanding of database structures, particularly in the context of large-scale educational data systems; proficiency in reading SQL code and stored procedures and interpreting SSIS packages

Prior experience supporting or documenting data consolidation or integration efforts

Data governance certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar

Familiarity with state and federal data privacy laws, including FERPA and other education-related data governance standards

Physical Demands:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
