Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Executive at Oracle Health, you will play a critical role in supporting VA sites by driving ongoing EHR optimization, adoption, and operational efficiency during deployment or sustainment. Serving as a trusted advisor to local VA clinical executive leadership and the entire care team, you will provide functional strategy advisement and informatics expertise to enhance clinical workflows and improve veteran care.In this role, you will collaborate with sites to analyze data, identify opportunities for remediation and optimization, and develop targeted strategies to improve system usability and efficiency. You will empower and support local site resources, guiding them in planning and implementing sustainment events, initiatives, and focused rounding to ensure continued engagement and proficiency among VA clinical staff.By leveraging Oracle Health tools and analytics, you will help drive change through workflow refinement, best practice implementation, and strategic guidance, ensuring VA end-users maximize their effectiveness in the EHR. Your expertise in clinical practice, informatics, deployment, and sustainment will be essential in ensuring Oracle Health solutions continue to drive clinical and operational excellence across VA sites.ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Executive (CE) will provide functional strategy and advisement to support deployment planning and execution, sustainment, and EHR optimization at VA sites. This role focuses on provider adoption, usability enhancements, and data-driven improvements using Lights On and Advance Analytics. Collaborating with local informatics teams, the CE will refine workflows, enhance clinical decision support, and integrate interdisciplinary processes across nursing, pharmacy, and ancillary services. The CE will drive deployment success through pre-go-live preparation, post-go-live monitoring, change management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure long-term efficiency and adoption.Key initiatives include VA national support, deployment planning and execution, post-go-live performance monitoring, targeted optimization events, usability and efficiency task forces, and collaboration with VA Learning. The CE will advise clinical governance, support training enhancements, and lead workflow improvements to optimize provider proficiency and system usability during both deployment and sustainment phases.Primary stakeholders include VA site clinical leadership (Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, and Chief Health Information Officer), local informatics teams, care teams (providers, nurses, pharmacists). Oracle Health, VA program leadership, federal health clients (FHCC, VA-DoD joint sites), and Oracle Health product and analytics teams. Through these efforts, the CE will help drive EHR adoption, operational efficiency, and improved veteran care outcomes.As a domain and process expert, the CE applies deep knowledge of clinical practice, informatics, deployment, and sustainment to drive EHR optimization and strategic initiatives. By forming strong partnerships with VA clinical leadership, they help enhance client performance and satisfaction through data-driven improvements and workflow refinements.This role collaborates with Oracle development teams to shape and position innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client needs. The CE leads solution design for both existing and prospective clients, identifying opportunities for new offerings and guiding organizations in the adoption of Oracle Health solutions. Their expertise supports business development efforts, influencing customer decision-making and contributing to high-quality, integrated implementations.Additionally, the CE will analyze customer needs, applying clinical expertise and business acumen to design effective, non-routine solutions that drive efficiency, usability, and improved patient care outcomes.Requirements:

Must obtain the appropriate government security clearance applicable to this position.

Due to the client contract assignment, U.S. citizenship is required.

This position requires 80-100% travel.

Bachelors or Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to area of focus, plus 8 year related work experience. Minimum Qualifications: At least 10+ years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including: At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience Degree in respective clinical expertise (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Studies, Informatics, Health Care or related field Certification required based on area of focus: Registered Nurse - State Board, Nursing Informatics Nursing Certification - American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC), Licensed Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O)-State Board. Licensed Medical Doctor - State Board, Pharmacist - State Board, Certified Exercise Physiologist - State Board, Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist - State Board Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
