Engineering Manager

What You’ll Do:Plant & Building Maintenance: Review spare parts, redesign machines, coordinate maintenance activities, ensure mechanical services meet production needs, and maintain high site standards.Cost Control & CAPEX: Manage engineering capital projects, prepare and monitor capex requests and project plans, reduce engineering costs, secure supplies, and find cost-effective solutions.Research & Development (R&D): Design solutions to improve performance and efficiency, introduce new technologies, and seek innovations for best practices in manufacturing.Council Collaboration & Site Security: Liaise with the Council on environmental consents, manage utility contracts, oversee security systems, and maintain site equipment and vehicles.Continuous Improvement: Ensure engineers follow relevant codes, proactively assess risks, investigate accidents, and address non-conformance reports (NCRs) within set timeframes.
