Computer Vision Engineer

Nearmap is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join our growing AI & Computer Vision group. This role will contribute to the development and optimisation of our production-grade computer vision software, supporting core capabilities across 3D reconstruction, image processing, and photogrammetry.You’ll be part of a high-calibre technical team, working on complex spatial problems that directly impact how industries make decisions at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust computer vision software using modern C.Design and maintain testing frameworks for code quality and system performance.Contribute to technical documentation, QA metrics, and development best practices.Participate in feature design, roadmap planning, and sprint prioritisation.Collaborate with teams across Capture Systems and Global Content Operations.Stay up to date with emerging techniques in computer vision and image processing.
