Following a review in 2022, the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences renewed its commitment to Seven Faculty Research Centres. The Eisdell Moore Centre (EMC) for hearing and balance research is one of the seven Faculty Research Centres. The EMC is dedicated to reducing the impact of hearing and balance disabilities in New Zealand and the Pacific Region. EMC also houses the WHO Collaborating Centre for Indigenous and Pacific Ear and Hearing Care, engaging and maintaining relationships with communities in Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands.We are seeking a dynamic and organised Research Operations Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Directors and Research Operations Manager. This role is crucial in supporting key initiatives, including outreach, communications, events, funding rounds, and digital presence, helping to strengthen connections, visibility, and impact. Your role will aid in coordinating research related events such as symposiums, workshops and seminars.As the Research Operations Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with a diverse team of academics, professional staff, external stakeholders, and the public. Your strong communication and relationship management skills will be essential. You will be ready to hit the ground running with excellent organisational abilities, capable of efficiently juggling multiple tasks.This is a part time, 0.6FTE (22.5 hours per week), fixed term role ending 30 September 2026. Ideal start date will be 6th October 2025.Remuneration:  $62,400 - $77,800 pro rata, dependent on skills and experience.For more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description
