Maintenance Technician

PLAY TO YOUR STRENGTHSPullman Auckland is looking for Maintenance Technician to assist the Engineering team in the day-to-day operation of the maintenance requirements of the hotel. This diverse role encompasses varying degrees of trade including painting, building maintenance or general handyman duties.Assisting the Chief Engineer and Assistant Maintenance Manager in maintaining safe working practices while overseeing the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings. This helps protect the assets and ensures a functional, pleasant, and safe environment for all guests, contractors, visitors, and employees.Liaise with the Chief Engineer and Assistant Maintenance Manager iregarding all work in guest rooms and public areas to ensure out of order areas of the hotel are brought back to use as soon as possible. Complete all tasks where possible within a 15 minutes time frame of receiving the requestReport back to the Manager on Duty or Front Office the completion or delay, of any task that is guest related.Suggest any improvements that could be made to improve existing service or procedures, log and inform the Department Manager of any service or system problems.
