As an Associate Developer, you will be a member of a cross-functional agile team responsible for developing software products.  You will be working alongside Software Developers of intermediate and senior ability, as well as other team members and consultants.In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your technical skills, including coding, testing, documentation, and collaborating with the team. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to technical excellence and has a positive attitude towards learning and working in a team environment.Excellent communication skills are important, as you will be required to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. This is an entry-level position for someone who is excited about starting their career in software engineering.You will be part of a team who are growing the capabilities and services in the Visa Spend Clarity to deliver scalable and robust solutions that will take Visa Spend Clarity to more customers and users around the globe.  With an engineering group of nearly 300 people, Visa Spend Clarity is a key focus area with large growth ambitions driven by customer needs and a desire to innovate using modern cloud technologies.As part of this role, you will:Develop .NET, SQL, and cloud related applicationsParticipate in technical designs in collaboration with others including developers, architects, and UX designersWrite unit, integration, and automation testsWrite documentationKnowledge sharing with other team membersPractice Agile methodologyParticipate in active learning with an open mindLearn Visa Spend Clarity domain conceptsThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
