Due to internal promotion, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our busy team which sits within the Finance Shared Transaction Centre.
The role will see you work with internal and external partners to ensure all types of accounts receivable transactions are effectively and efficiently managed. We need you to have exceptional attention to detail and problem solving abilities. You will also need to manage multiple systems and procedures.Your responsibilities will involve:Proactively interpret and analyse requests and provide expert advice to ensure compliance with university policies and to achieve positive outcomesManage customer setup and maintenance, ensuring invoice requests and credit notes are processed accurately and reconciled efficientlyProvide expert advice and resolution of complex billing and payment related issues through investigation and re-education of internal and external customers to ensure compliance with Receipting and Banking policy and proceduresDaily banking reconciliations from multiple sources. Investigating unidentified payments and ensuring that all receipt files, dishonoured payments, and payment transfers are completed to meet critical month end timeframes along with the associated disbursement journalsSupport the Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Leader to execute operational plans for the on-going functions of the teamEstablish relationships with key stakeholders that meet each party's needs and agreed outcomesAlways demonstrate excellent customer service through reliable, efficient and accurate execution of service deliverablesThis is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week), 12 month fixed-term position.
