Infrastructure Lead - Oil & Gas Construction

 Turner & Townsend are seeking an Infrastructure Lead to join our team and support a large-scale petrochemical construction project.   This is ONSITE in Albany, New York. Roles & Responsibilities:  Prioritize safety in all aspects of work. Serve as site subject matter expert and project delivery engineer for structural and concrete maintenance and improvements on site. This scope would include equipment-related infrastructure such as structural equipment supports, foundations, and dikes as well as building structural steel, concrete, ladders, and roofs.  Create and oversee execution of multi-year infrastructure maintenance and capital improvement plan.  Assessing site needs in the areas of structural, civil, roads, painting, and buildings and collaborate with client engineering team in planning and prioritization.  Develop cost estimate, scope projects, quality assurance, vendor selection and lead execution as the client’s representation working closely with assigned construction managers and contractors. Develop comprehensive inspection plan for civil structural assets onsite per code and client standards and mobilize sufficient contract resources to execute.  This effort includes establishing an identification method of structural assets for tracking completion of inspections. Provide input on site projects related to civil and structural aspects during scoping, design reviews, installation, and pre-start field reviews.  Participate in root cause analysis, risk assessments, and other studies as needed.  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions. Interact with client to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively; Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication Participate in project interviews and project presentations Be knowledgeable of and apply relevant internal specifications and standards as well as regulatory requirements.
