There is an emphasis on utilizing the recovery model, formulating individualized treatment plans that leads to self-sufficiency. These positions require crises intervention techniques, documenting client progress, assessing client needs and resources available; case management practices and procedures; laws governing abuse and neglect of clients; care planning and implementation; and educating clients and their families on issues of daily living, coping skills and employment.
