This position is in the State Historic Preservation Office, Comstock History Center located in Virginia City, NV. This is a part time position expected to work 20 hours a week on-site in the Comstock History Center. The specific work schedule will be determined. Attendance at evening public Commission meetings is required. The incumbent will work closely with the Chair of the Comstock Historic District Commission to manage applications for certificates of appropriateness (COA), prepare and post monthly meeting agendas (and special meetings as required), prepare and send all meeting notifications, set-up and provide administrative and other assistance during the Commission's public meetings (generally the first Tuesdays of the month at 5pm), conduct all file management for COAs, prepare COA certificates, prepare written meeting minutes (from audio recording and notes), and other tasks as assigned and as required to assist the Chair with all Commission business.
