Maxwell Mechanical a Commercial and Industrial HVAC Contractor is looking fill a position for a shop runner.
Qualifications Include: Valid Nevada drivers license with clean driving record, ability to drive trucks, tow trailers, operate fork lift & scissor lift, good attitude and a great work ethic.
Responsibilities Include:
Operate company vehicles safely while following DOT and company policies.
Pick up, load, transport, and deliver construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Properly secure loads to prevent damage or loss during transit.
Run errands, parts, and emergency supplies.
Assist with maintaining shop organization, including labeling, restocking, and staging tools/equipment for crews.
Report shortages, damaged items, or equipment needing repair.
Deliver plans, paperwork, and small tools between the office, shop, vendors, and job sites.
Support crews with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.
Maintain good communication with project managers and foremen to prioritize needs.
Assist in light fabrication, staging, or prep work in the shop when not on deliveries.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
