Alpen Tree Experts is a leading tree service company dedicated to providing high quality tree care services to our clients. With a focus on safety and professionalism, we strive to exceed expectations with every project. From tree removals to pruning and defensible space, we handle it all with expertise and precision.
As a ground person, you will play a vital role in supporting our tree care operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting arborists and tree climbers with equipment setup and takedown.
Safely operating chainsaws, wood chippers, skid steers and other tools under supervision.
Gathering and disposing of debris and brush.
Ensuring the work site is clean and organized.
Communicating effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Driving company vehicles to and from job sites.
Requirements:
Previous experience in landscaping, forestry, or related fields is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation including additional compensation for class A and B driver’s licenses.
Ability to speak both English and Spanish is a bonus!
