Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in various aspects of carpentry, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering top-notch results.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinetry
- Repair and maintain existing structures
- Ensure work meets building codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and other trades on-site
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (2-3 years preferred)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license clean driving record
- Ability to lift 90 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
