We are currently looking to expand our operations into the Reno Area and will be recruiting for both Operator and Foreman positions working with Excavators, Loaders, and Rock Crushers. Please see below for the job description. If interested please forward your current resume for consideration.

SUMMARY

An equipment operator of front-end loaders, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts and other equipment associated with the production of processed aggregates and equipment maintenance. A general laborer that performs work as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

1. Conducts and documents safety inspections of the Heavy Equipment before operation.

2. Responsible for adhere to all policy guidelines set forth by company management.

3. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard or work site

4. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

5. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

6. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.

7. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load destination or signals crane hoisting operators to move load to destination.

8. Coordinates with Foreman to insure materials are maintained at proper operating levels.

9. Assist Foreman with plant maintenance and repairs.

10. Performs routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning.

11. Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, cleans work areas, machines and equipment.

12. Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts ore replacing rollers.

13. Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics or chemicals, into machine hoppers, vehicles or containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels.

14. Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

15. Assist with plant personnel and customers as needed.

16. Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds. Safety equipment means clothing and apparatus including, but not limited to hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, back support belts, gloves and respirators.
